Sync tests and thoughts

First,

Usb: Toshiba laptop to galaxy s 2 skyrocket.

Use laptop to cut-paste transfer 8 gb of music off the internal sd to the external 32 gb sd. It took it took 35 minutes. Over 4 minutes/gb.

Then using samsung allshare app over wifi at 19,000 kbps, transfer Empire Strikes Back, 699 MB from laptop hard drive to skyrocket. It took over 10 minutes. Over 14 minutes/gb

So that allshare transfer process was simple and wireless but very slow. maybe because it went:

Google, samsung, toshiba, microsoft.

I guess that's why sync is always such an awkward process. But it seems easy enough now. It still takes to long.

Sync is weird. I like it better than cloud though cause if you get cut off from cloud then you're fucked. I like to keep everything stored everywhere.

Next I'll try Kies air And Cheetah sync Apps.

have you already tried those?

i tried winamp sync a while ago and it was impossible.
