Will these parts work together (kind of nervous...)
Let me preface this by saying, YES, I did buy a computer from CyberPower PC (hasnt arrived yet). This was before I read any horror stories. Let me explain a little bit though before you all light into me, because I know theres going to be 100 replies that I should have built it myself :)
After my short intro I'll get to the point, I just gotta say it because this IS on r/buildapc, and after all, i'm not building it (but i do need your help!).
I have built computers since I was 18 or so, and have built a decent number of them for myself or for family. Several things lead me to taking this route. First and foremost my business partner and I wanted to get matching gaming PC's to play saints 3 and bf3 after we closed a large deal. He's not very computer literate, and I'm not there locally to build it for him, so I deemed the best choice was to buy them pre-assembled, being full aware of the price difference in exchange for the convenience of it arriving at your door in "working" order. I use the term loosely after reading reviews :P
In retrospect, i think it never really occured to me to check into cyberpower reviews I because called them with a question about their site and they picked up on the first ring, and he was very supportive. Their site seemed professional, and I heard a few people on reddit recommend it. So while I looked at individual parts reviews, i never looked at reviews for the company itself.
it seems most issues are arising from people buying lower end models which are halfway/half-assed assembled, or with shitty low-quality power supplies which burn their computer to the ground. If it comes with a few fans not attached, or something not quite connected that I can deal with.. I know how to put them all in. On the other hand, it's been awhile since I was really UP on what parts work together, and it seems other people are having issues with incompatible parts being assembled that turn their box into a fireworks display when they turn it on.
When I get the PC im gonna do a thorough rundown of all the connections, making sure everything is seated and whatnot properly before turning it on, but what I'm wondering if all the parts i got ARE actually compatible. I assumed they were because the computer builder on the site said its fine, but now I'm not so sure..
Would anyone be willing to help me with a thorough visual check to see if anything here is incompatible?
