Good guide for LR3 workflow?

So I've had Lightroom 3 for awhile now, but have really yet to learn how to use it to its full potential. My photos are organized into folders by Year->Month, which is something I would like to change with the help of Lightroom. How do yall's workflows look? Any good guides out there online?
