What are some applications of prime numbers in real life?

So I've recently taken a fascination in prime numbers, specifically the Riemann hypothesis and the prime counting functions and estimating primes. I know from my first term of university math that primes are useful in modular arithmetic and in encryption methods such as RSA, but are there other applications of primes that I'm not yet aware of?
