Feeling pretty upset because a friend ignored me when I told her how upset I felt in the past over something she said.

Earlier this year I was feeling depressed and stressed out over uni and friends. I messaged this friend, asking her if we could talk because I was feeling depressed. She expressed alarm and suggested I talk to a telephone counsellor like Lifeline.

Some context: I was feeling upset before because I was being ignored by another friend, too, so being told to speak to someone else -- a stranger no less -- about my issues was something I found very rejecting. I didn't want to exacerbate the situation further so I didn't tell her how I felt.

Towards the end of this year I was thinking a lot about that incident, and it really hurts me that she still didn't know what really happened.

So I sent her a Facebook message last week, explaining what happened and how I responded to her comment. I was extra careful not to accuse her of anything -- I don't think her statement was horribly cruel, and she probably she did so with good intentions -- but it irritates me that I've been keeping it from her because I don't want to make her 'angry'.

Today I checked Facebook and noticed that my friend has removed me from her list. It is a big shock because it's not something I would have expected from her.
