Family member developed serious alcohol problem - I'm worried

Hey Reddit,

I'm not sure what to do here, morally or legally. Recently a family member of mine (who I live with) has developed a serious alcohol dependency. It's to the point where everyone in the house has decided we can't keep living like this. Everybody is over 18 years old - I'm not sure what I can do legally. I have talked with this person and while they admit it's an issue, they aren't able to resolve it on their own and don't want help from anybody else. It's an "I'm just an asshole alcoholic, and you're gonna deal with it" attitude.

I want this person to get better. What can I do?
