My Fear: Reddit and protesters to be marked as terrorists
Foreword:
Dear Reddit, English is a second language for me, and I have never been known for being the most eloquent person in the room. So, please don’t go grammar Nazi on me, but maybe listen to what is on my heart.
TL;DR; Yay Reddit! Let’s kick out corrupt politicians! Please get more people involved!
Body:
I am neither really conservative nor liberal, matter of a fact I’ve been disillusioned by this polar treatment of the political believes. But recent unity on Reddit on the topic of SOPA/PIPA and NDAA, have really made me believe in us as a community, gave me faith in us as Americans once again.
My biggest fear now is that, people who rule this country; the ones, who forgot they work for us and not for the huge bribes. I’m afraid these people will not go down easily. If we can show to the world that we get a Senator(s) voted out by exposing the corruption in which they live, we will become enemy number 1 for the rest of the system. We will be labeled as terrorists! We are a threat to the current regime, and if we can throw out the corruption (Democrat/Republican) the rest of them will unite against us.
I believe that we have a simple and clear goal that no one can oppose in public. We want to get rid of corruption in our government; we should use it as a slogan, a rallying cry. Because no one will publicly fight to keep the corruption, so they will try to smear us. Smear campaign is the only tactic they will have, but we do not care about labels, only about the truth.
I just want to support and encourage everyone who is working hard in exposing the corruption. Thank You! We are behind you, we support you, and we will bring more supporters to our cause. Support any candidate who is willing to fight the status quo, encourage the candidates that will fight for us to run for office. Make some noise! Make the major media see our campaign to end corruption, and get the rest of America to hear our case. Let us kick out every politician who took away our rights as human beings, and replace them with someone who appreciates our support, has our interest in mind!
