Reddit. My feet are dying. What do?

So, I'm new to Reddit and there is a large chance I'm posting in the wrong place, but it seemed right. If I should post somewhere else, do tell.

Anyways. Humans main form of transportation are their feet. Therefore, I have always taken care of mine. However, a few weeks ago, the skin on them began to deteriorate. When I say deteriorate, I mean they have gotten extremely dry and the skin is beginning to fall off at an alarming rate. My feet have never shed in my life, and now the entirety of both feet is beginning to shed. I doubt this is life threatening, but it worries me considering I have never had a problem before.

I am here to ask if anyone has any idea as to why this is happening so suddenly, and if you have any solutions. And yes, I have tried lotion.
