Ask /r/startups: Any benefits to incorporating as a contractor?
I'm co-founding a startup and my co-founder and I are currently bootstrapping it with individual programming contract work. We're planning on incorporating in January, most likely as an S-corp. I've heard it mentioned that running contracts through the corporation is a great way to simplify and save on taxes. Is this true? If so, what's the best process for doing it?
