Just downloaded assassin's creed. Everything is danish. Help, please!

Steam directed me to a ubisoft login thing and everything was danish. I got an account and entered in the game code thinking once i did that i could just play the game through steam. but instead i stil had to go through the ubisoft thing. once i figured out how to open the game, everything was still danish, the hell is going on?
