DAE: have people look at you with pity when you roll a smoke, and then offer a "real" cigarette to you?

I choose to smoke rolling tobacco and pay More for it than most people who smoke tailors. I choose to not have a filter. Why do they think they are doing me a favor by feeling sorry for me and offering me some shitty filtered floor scrapings?

It's either that, or I'm badass for rolling my own. People are too easily impressed. How do they think they were first made?
