Are sub reddits becoming too specific?

For every person who loves to point out that someone has posted something that belongs in another sub reddit, there is a sub reddit. In the spirit of the ever increasing specificity of sub Reddits, I've created one for men who are 6'4" tall. Will it take off? Or, will it sit stale and rot like so many overly specific sub reddits?
