[TOMT][TV] A kids show - possibly Canadian, about a sleeping giant, some kids with a necklace they turned...

From a fair few years ago...they travelled to a forest that was mysteriously dying, there was a puppet there, and in some episodes the puppet was dying and it freaked the HECK out of me when I was young. The goal of the show was to somehow wake up the sleeping giant to restore this forest and everything dying in it, and then the kids would return to somewhere (I think) in eastern Canada where they'd live with their aunt in an antiques shop or something.
