So is censorship this subreddit's new thing?

Hi, about an hour ago, I posted this link to r/mma. Now you can accuse me of being an asshole like many on the thread inevitably did, and that's fine. In hindsight my views were a little harsh. They DID NOT however violate this subreddit's reddiquette.

One of the mods here, Hesperus, took it upon himself to also rip into me for being an asshole, and of course he went a little further, I disagree with him, but he has every right to say that. Notice however my reply, which again isn't exactly in good taste, but does not violate this subreddit's TOS in ANY way. Save for making this particular mod a little angry..or wait..actually it looks like it made him VERY angry.. as I received this in my mail shortly after

Of course the submission was deleted soon afterwards. Now..if I'm crazy for missing how my post violated this subreddit's TOS, please let me know what I missed. If there's a legitimate reason, besides annoying hesperus, why I was hit with a banning threat and why my submission was deleted, then fine so be it. But if I was hit with the above two, simply for that comment to Hesperus, then I believe something's wrong here..

and yes hesperus, as strongly as you disagree, I believe I HAVE made my contributions to this subreddit for the past 2.5 years, and I don't need confirmation from anybody, let alone you..
