I'm writing a satirical screenplay that takes place in a future where military and corporate cultures have merged. I'm looking for ways to further blur the line between military and corporation.
For example, military forces in my story are bought and paid for by corporations and fight purely to increase profit - they can undergo mergers, be bought out, or re-branded. Soldiers are considered employees and are led by CEOs instead of generals. Strategies are decided on according to the whims of the shareholders. Etc. etc. etc.
I guess what I'm looking for is any beginning traces of this in our modern militaries that I can run with an exaggerate for comedic purposes. Or corporate practices that are militaristic? I'm looking to blur the line as much as possible!
