I'm searching for options that will effectively help a family friends business. They still do everything with a pen and paper.
Dear reddit,
For the past few weeks I've been assisting a family friends produce business that is located in LA. Twenty five years strong with an impressive clientele. The only unfortunate part is the amount of time consumed by just tallying each order. Daily I create routes, issue the total amount of crates that are needed to be delivered, and call each individual restaurant to obtain their order. I'm attaching some photos that can shed some light on my vague description. I'm reaching out because we are beginning to see a trend with our customers. Some feel embarrassed to associate with us due to our archaic practices. It also doesn't help that the owners are foreign and technology illiterate. I'm very curious to see if anyone has any knowledge on how to make this business more efficient. Lay it on me reddit. Please.
P.S. I do have Quickbooks Small Business Accounting 2011. Thoughts?
Thanks.
