Any up-to-date mods to allow you to go retrieve kidnapped pawns, or to continue playing as them?

Recently had a pawn get kidnapped for the first time, and realized that there is a very good chance you'll never see them again. It's worse than if they just died, because you have no way of really telling what happened to them.

I found this mod:

but it appears it's no longer functional and not likely to be updated, with nobody else making a continued version of it.
