New Leaderboard Question

I'm gonna be honest, I'm not too sure how Radiant fully works on Valorant. I heard it's region-based, so does that mean that the Leaderboard only shows Radiants correlating with the area I live in? Or is it just Radiants in general? I'm not even sure if I'm getting this right at all, so if someone could explain that'd be great!
