An open letter from Rob Zerban to GoDaddy.com

To Bob Parsons and GoDaddy.com,
When looking to register my website, like most people, I tried to find the best deal. I gave you my business. Despite your recent vacillation, your decision to support SOPA at any point has made me change my mind.
SOPA would devastate the free nature of the internet by allowing unilateral closing down of popular websites. I understand your motivations in supporting this, but I deeply disagree. In short, you do not reflect my values, and I think that most people disagree with this legislation as well. There must be a better solution to this problem and I cannot accept the stifling effects this legislation would have on our internet.
Today, I have transferred from GoDaddy.com and am encouraging all others to do the same.
I am also launching a petition on my website, www.robzerban.com/SOPA, to collect signatures of others that oppose this legislation.
I hope my actions will cause you, as well as this Congress, to listen to your customers and constituents, respectively, and stop SOPA before it is too late.
Sincerely,
