There are people who follow this sub who weren’t even alive for this game. When did I get so old?

Meanwhile, I attended this game.

This game ended up being the Eagles' last ever win at Veterans Stadium.

I was there too...when Dawkins hit Vick at the goal line I thought the vet was going to come down right then.

People have no idea how insane the hype was for the following game.

the reid years were good times man. i look at them more fondly than, dare i say, even our super bowl run :( those teams truly deserved a ring, especially Jim Johnson.

The postgame interview with McNabb is so depressing because he seemed full of optimism for it to only lead to the following week which is one of, if not the most, excruciating losses I have ever experienced as a fan.

Reid could never pull through with McNabb or Vick and "the dream team"

Well he loss to a team in the midst of cheating so can we really be that mad?

The buccaneers were cheating?

Oh, this is probably referring to the Raiders/Callahan keeping the same terminology as the Gruden offense and the Bucs realizing this during the Super Bowl.

Thanks for these primetime clips. I love these so much.

The kid taped every ESPN highlight show. It's incredible.

I wouldn’t mind seeing the loses too. These are awesome trips back in time

Went to this game, was my first eagles game I went to and wasnt quite an eagles fan, was starting to become one but was also a Vick fan with the VT connection, so it was great fun to watch and one of last games at the Vet.

I'll never forget the Dawkins hit on crumpler. Got so hyped, I knew the game was over then.

That was two years and a week later.

Vick later said that was the hardest he'd ever been hit. https://youtu.be/0_vLQNGDKsQ?t=598

Vick was always so awful against us, and it was always so sweet cause a lot of people compared him to mcnabb, and most claimed he was better(lol). during that time period i wasnt really following football outside of eagles games. i remember when vick came here everyone was up in arms about the dog stuff, which, dont get me wrong... so was i... but i was more focused on how bad he sucked cause the only performances i saw were against jim johnson and our defense who always had his number.

Back when football was politics free and we didn’t have to hear about concussions every 2 plays

Oh shut the hell up. You sound so soft.

goddamn. yall wanna see some racist sexist shit, take a stroll through this guys comment history.

Oh yeah it’s real great back in the day when we pretended concussions didn’t exist so players could be exploited for a few years of play and struggle with their health and TBIs for the rest of their life

You’re a snowflake who doesn’t understand what the fuck politics even is

Also go birds, bitch
