Smooth brain math regarding the vote count

🐡 Discussion πŸ’¬

I probably flattened out my last wrinkle, but please check this out and discuss:

The data:

So according to the 8-K filing the total number of votes is around ~55.54 million shares (counting all votes and non-votes for George E. Sherman) Source: https://www.sec.gov/ix?doc=/Archives/edgar/data/0001326380/000119312521186759/d174340d8k.htm

Our current float according to finviz is ~ 57.03 million shares right now. Source: https://finviz.com/quote.ashx?t=GME

In the 10-K filing on 3/23 gamestop announced a share offering for 3.5 million shares . So according to this, the float was previously ~53.53 million shares. Source: https://www.sec.gov/ix?doc=/Archives/edgar/data/0001326380/000132638021000032/gme-20210130.htm

Gamestop finished it share offering program for 3.5 million shares on the 4/26. Source: https://news.gamestop.com/news-releases/news-release-details/gamestop-completes-market-equity-offering-program

The final date for eligible shares for voting was on the 4/15.

My thesis:

The share offering program between the 3/23 and the 4/15 increased the float to 55.54 million shares. The reported number in the 8-K filing is 100% of the float at the 4/15. According to Wes Christian, the 8K-filing has to be adjusted for overvoting.

OK apes, i am probably missing some or have incorrect data. My assumption is probably wrong. Can some more wrinkled brain apes check this out?
