Misinformation Alert! Need to examine eligible votes vs float votes!

Discussion 🦍

*Knights of New please let me pass! This question is prevalent in the 'controversial' section and is going unanswered.*

The current top post may be spreading misinformation and we need to re-examine and verify the premise of it's conclusion. It is alleging that becuase the vote count is approximately 100% of the float, it is therefore evidence that we own the float. This suggests the idea that the vote was normalized to just barely fit into the eligible vote amount.

However there has been no clarification or citation of why the entire ~70 million shares are not eligible for voting. If all shares are eligible, and yet GME only received 55 million votes, then we need to address and face that head on.

This questions needs to be addressed:

  1. What is the true eligible share number?
  2. How many votes are locked away from voting and who holds them (ETF, insiders, etc)
  3. Are insiders allowed or restricted from voting? And if restricted, which ones for what reasons?

I know we want a smoking gun but we have to be accurate! Its why this sub is so great.
