[Daily Hero tl;dr #13] Skeleton King

Happy New Year r/Dota2. For tonight, I shall do a boring hero that doesn't require much thought at all, Skeleton King.

TL;DR

• Skills - Hellfire (1,3,5,7) Aura (13,14,15,17) Crit (8,9,10,12) Reincarnation (6,11,16) * Stats (2,4)
• Items (lane) - minor stats, regen, quelling / stout if needed, Magic Wand
• Items (early) - Treads, Armlet, Soul Ring
• Items (later) - AC, BKB, Satanic, Heart
• Tips - use Soul Ring before death for Reincarnation mana, be master right clicker
• How to counter - Disable, burn his mana

There's really not much to say about this hero. People argue he's quite boring. Back when he had Storm Bolt instead of Hellfire Blast (basically same spell) people joked that you only need a keyboard with the letter "t" to play this hero successfully.

Basically, the only tricks are how to Reincarnate best. Luckily for us, we have two nice items that are helpful: Soul Ring and Armlet. If you have no mana, use Soul Ring right before you die. Also, Armlet can let you die faster by removing (or gaining) a few hundred HP. It might be useful in weird situations to kill yourself to Reincarnate with full HP and mana.

I guess I would classify this guy as a carry, but he's a pretty weak one. Getting Aura early is useless because you aren't dealing enough damage, but it's nice later to push down lanes and stuff. Once you farm up Armlet, however, you should be strong enough to make an impact during team fights.
