It wouldn't be hard to fix if you have time. Depends what part broke.

Yeah lol my friend and I threw a party and his parents will definitely notice a completely broken cabinet door

You broke it and is trying to make up a excuse right?

Anyway just say it’s old/low quality, it always works

Say your sister pushed you because you wouldn't get her a cup or plate

Let's weigh our options here.

Lose hinges.

Old wooden cabinets might peel off if poorly maintained.

Ghosts.

Hear me out you could just own up to it. Will absolutely go better if you just say you broke it..this does not mean say anything about the party it just means say you guys were wrestling and fell into it

You must have a screw loose. As for the cabinet, I have no idea.

it's almost always loose screws from repeated use (or a defective/broken hinge also from using it a lot)

occasionally - if it is actually the *door* itself that's broken - it was caused by the glue in the wood giving out (also can be caused by overuse or slamming)

in any case the solution is to screw that thing back into place (first shim the screw-holes, a splinter of wood/paper will do) to prevent it slipping out again) or grab a bottle of wood glue and piece it back together

Can say(and i detest lying) that someting was behind it when you were opening it and it broke. But the truth sounds better

Can say you fell on it while trying to get something

What is a good reason for a cabinet door to have broken off?
