Birth control or hormone blockers?

Basically the title. I'm 15, have had my period for a few years (have no idea when I started), and puberty started probably at 10 or 11? Basically, I'm looking to get on either birth control or hormone blockers while I do therapy with my mom to start T, and also so i dont have to get my period. It's not dysphoria inducing but it can be disabling.

I'd still have to convince my dad to take me to the doctor about it but should I consider one over the other?
