Don’t explain to me the intricacies of dogmatism and marxism and it’s historical context you nerd - Mao was divinely chosen to save the Chinese proletarians. Don’t ask me for proof either I’ll find you

Not exactly. The Mandate of Heaven was more to do with different dynasties and factions competing for overlordship, and if one suffered a string of military defeats (or catastrophes of whatever kind) they were assumed to have lost the Mandate of Heaven and therefore to have lost the right to rule. The modern case with the CPC is that they first gained the Mandate by defeating opposing factions (the Japanese and their puppet Manchu Puyi, and of course especially the Kuomintang under Chiang Kai Shek) and then were able to hold it by resisting imperialist aggression and building China into what it is today.

Still, until the Kuomintang are finally rooted out of Taipei, there is still technically a competing faction and the Mandate isn’t totally secure. This is why both states claim all of China - by doing so, they are also claiming the Mandate, the source of the right to rule.

I like the blend of communist and ancient Egyptian aesthetics.

It’s my personal headcanon that the interdynastic years (which outnumbered the years with pharaohs) of ancient egypt represented spontaneous assemblages of peasant communism, under-represented in the archaeological record because their energies were spent on perfecting an egalitarian, biodegradable village utopia rather than on megalithic architectural vanity projects

So if the book says don’t follow book, does that mean... we should disobey it, and do follow book?

Books says don't worship book. When the evidence and the book disagree, follow the evidence and maybe update the book.

Zhang Jiao and his Yellow Turbans would be extremely proud of the Communist Party. A dictatorship of the prolatariat has finally become reality - rest easy Zhang brothers.
