I recently saw a small movie called Cuban Fury with Nick Frost and Chris O'Dowd. Funny film, but it included a flashback that I would remove altogether and allow the characters to do what they did in the script, which was talk about the event, discuss it, explore it naturally, instead of shoving it down my throat. It's a small alteration, but it changes my relationship with the film. I'm slowly discovering this past event while moving forward in the story. Lovely!
