GPU research
Hey there Razer fam. I'm gonna be in the market for a new laptop probably towards the end of the year and wanted to get some research on Razer brand laptops. Specifically my knowledge of GPUs that they use are somewhat limited because PC gaming hasn't been much of a concern for me for quite a while.
I'm looking at anywhere from 1500-2000 dollars budget wise and I've noticed a couple of configurations that I think I'm in the market for but if anybody can educate me along the scale of GPUS in the Razer Book, Blade 15 Base and Blade 14...
Pros cons of the Intel Iris Xe in the book, GTX 1660 in the Base and the RTX 30xx in the Blade 14.
I wouldn't exactly be looking at pushing the envelope hard with gaming. I mostly play Game Pass games like No Man's Sky, Doom Eternal, Halo, Stellaris, Age of Empires...nothing terribly taxing?
Any education would be greatly appreciated!

I'm confused, are you doing GPU research or are you asking others to do the research for you?
If you're just looking for a gaming laptop in that price range, r/suggestalaptop will a better place to ask.

Mmm. Clarification I guess. I think I understand at least the scale across which the Iris Xe, GTX and RTX sit. I guess I'm asking about context in performance across those. What am I gaining/losing between them. It seems the GTX is "mid-range" but still solid performance but RTX seems more "Hardcore"
Neither Intel nor GTX models have hardware Raytracing (a.k.a. "RTX") which is the biggest difference aside from obvious performance gaps.
RTX support exists in quite a few games nowadays, basically pre-RTX cards will never support it i.e. you won't be able to enable reflections like here
Intel is budget. GTX1660 is entry, will handle a lot of (most?) older games. RTX will sort you out in newest games and high refresh rates.
You should look at what displays which laptop comes with (60Hz? 144Hz? 165Hz? More?), then check what performance your "usual" games run at the paired GPU. I.e. you wouldn't want a 240Hz screen with a GTX1660 if it can only run your game at 40FPS
And if you want NVIDIA's raytracing (more future-proof), then you need an RTX card
