This is not the case in NSW.  Gladys stated (yesterday I think) that having to isolate after a test was a disincentive for being tested and was not required.

Yep, complete marketing spin. Every single person who takes a COVID test is asked to isolate until negative result. This is not new or remarkable information.

And the exposure list is exploding. So either they are late to the party or they haven’t really been isolating for their infectious period.

Have been in isolation since being contacted or have been in isolation during their infectious period? It's a big difference, and one the health team never clarifies during the pressers.

Unsure if all of them being in isolation is a great thing.

Considering the long list of exposure sites and continuing sewage testing showing cases in areas outside of the these sites, I would want to see more walk in positives. Or else you run the risk of unknown community spread.

I’m hearing around 20 newly reported cases for NSW today. Basically all of them are close contacts and have been in isolation. Plus unlinked cases have now been linked to Bondi cluster. Officials are slightly more confident, they have it in hand. @9NewsAUS
