I'm so sorry you're having to endure this. I felt similarly once, I call it a symptom of my surroundings. If things are too hectic and depressing, why would you laugh about it? Some people find humor in it still, and there's nothing wrong with either way of dealing with a situation. 

I found humor to be a godsend. I watched funny cats because I love cats and adore nearly everything they do until I couldn't find anything new anymore. I watched people doing dumb stuff to keep myself entertained. I found pleasure in watching a lot of funny stuff, because it was my way to keep on chugging along. I found people who made me laugh because I find with laughter comes more emotions.

Maybe you can too, or maybe wait until you feel something again and write about it. Happy? Great! Write about why your feeling that way for the moment. Sad? That's terrible, but okay and totally normal. Write about what's causing your sorrow. Angry as all freaking hell? Write that down. Write it down! Maybe you'll 

I’m on the opposite spectrum but I empathize with you. I cant stop laughing and joking even when I’m distressed and it’s driving ppl around me insane. Hope that you get through this.

I’m so serious all the time, nothing makes me laugh, cry, feel emotions, I can’t joke with people anymore, has anyone found a way to help this?
