Titus Welliver Appreciation

General

I’ve always loved him as an actor and felt he’s never gotten the recognition he deserved. I met him in 2003 and he was as friendly as you’d imagine

He’s been in great shows like Deadwood, Lost, Sons of Anarchy and now Bosch, along with several movies

Let’s celebrate the man 👊 Perfect casting choice for Harry Bosch

Haha, how tf did I miss that

I’ve rewatched that show at least 10 times

His Irish accent was so bad though

And it’s not even close, in SOA at least

He is a good actor and more importantly, he is a very nice person.

A true gentleman. He was a good choice for Bosch.

Perfect casting choice for Harry Bosch

Hell yeah! I've been reading the books lately and I hear Harry's lines in Welliver's voice.

He’s even done the voice over for the last couple audio versions

I first saw him as Jimmy O'Phelan and wanted him to die painfully all through SOA, so I wasn't sure if I'd like him as a good guy...but man, he nailed it. He fits the kind of craggy, dour-ish but magnetic image I had from the books.

Yeah he was an asshole in SOA, especially what he did to Chibs

Fun fact: Harry Bosch’s home in Hollywood Hills is only about 2500 feet from Jimmy Kimmel’s house.

Probably a lot of other celebs too I guess.

A younger Titus Welliver plays a doctor in NYPD blue

And he was in The Good Wife as the ruthless prosecutor who replaces Alicia‘s husband, played by Chris North

Effective under-acting is an undervalued skill in the entertainment industry, and Titus Welliver is a master of it - probably the best since Edward James Olmos in Miami Vice.
