Ugh. Eating hot food right now does not sound good.
I think I’ll have ice cream for dinner.
I made a smoothie.
We are alternating between frozen yogurt tubes, cereal, and pasta salad. Hot food....nah. Were barely hungry anyway.
Yummmm!!
Did you let it cook any longer or did you eat it? I’d be curious what it looked like after an hour or two.
I wish I had the willpower to have let the s'mores stay longer in the sun, but I ate them all after 35 minutes! If I do it again, I'll leave them out in the sun longer. I would also modify my set up... maybe put the pie plate on a dark surface to attract more heat.
Think I’m gonna take an egg out to my street tomorrow afternoon and invite the neighbors.
What will you make...nachos? ...s'mores? ...bacon burger?
Seriously, if you try solar cooking - please follow all the usual food safety precautions. Melted chocolate is safe. A bacon burger really isn't - unless you have the skills to make an amazing solar oven and then please post pics.
