can I box with a medusa piercing?

ok i will post this to both r/piercing and r/boxing, so i have been thinking about getting a medusa piercing, but i dont know will i be able to box/spar with it, because i wear a mouthguard while sparring, rn i have my septum, eyebrow and industrial pierced and i havent had any issues with them, but then again medusa goes through your mouth so im kinda confused
