D to B in one season?

Hi all, just got a question regarding license promotions, I know this gets asked a lot but just wasn’t sure and wanted to ask.

I’m currently a D class driver with SR 3.5, completed the mpr requirements for c license. my question is, will it be possible for me to get to B license (or at least race B license races) in this current season.

For example if I get my SR to 4, I should be able to race in c class races right? Then if I keep my SR above 4 while doing so, and complete 4 c class races for the mpr requirement for B class, still with 4 SR. Would be able to do then B class races?
