Best bang for my buck long term SUV under $30k in Los Angeles

So I’m not really sure about what car I should get. I keep going back and fourth.

Basically my requirements are:

Under $30k AWD/4WD Reliable Last the next 5 years without a headache. Want something with good highway passing power. Off-road worthy.

What I have considered:

2018 Toyota Highlander V6 2011+ Nissan Xterra 2005-2014 Toyota 4Runner

Other picks but might regret after a year are:

Toyota RAV4 Honda CRV Subaru Forester
