The Dark Tetrad?

So, I’ve been thinking about the Dark Triad, Morris and the Concept of the Psychological Dark Triad.

The three parts of the Dark Triad are:

Narcissism is characterized by grandiosity, pride, egotism, and a lack of empathy.

Machiavellianism is characterized by manipulation and exploitation of others, an absence of morality, unemotional callousness, and a higher level of self-interest.

Psychopathy is characterized by continuous antisocial behavior, impulsivity, selfishness, callous and unemotional traits (CU) and remorselessness.

Within the Dark Triad, Dante is assigned Narcissism, Vanica is assigned Machiavellianism and Zenon is assigned Psychopathy as a matter of course.

But there’s a related or more accurately an expanded concept called the Dark Tetrad which adds in Sadism which is defined as: the enjoyment of cruelty.

If we add Morris in we can switch Vanica over to Sadism, which she exhibits in great detail, in fighting and torturing others and place Morris with Machiavellianism, which he exhibits with his use and abuse of others: Mars, Fana and the other test subjects, his complete lack of morality in his experiments and utter self-interest in joining the Triad to further his own goals – perhaps one being the acquisition of the Queen of Heart’s Lineage of Wisdom. It seems like a perfect fit.
