Question about DV Flare

Hey there I am on day 8 of 10 on my antibiotics regimen and since I had the flare I was 166 pounds and now I am 158 pounds!

Is it normal to lose 8-9 lbs during a flare especially if you have mostly been on a liquid diet?

Also is it normal to still have some pain in the area after these many days of antibiotics? Good news is though that the fever went away completely but just remember my pain went away after 48 hours on my first flare up a year ago!
