Missouri is not doomed

I keep seeing this on the news. That all of us backwoods Missouri anti-vaxers are doomed by the Indian variant (now known as delta, because it sounds more scary).

The "Show Me State" has a population of 6.137 million. We have had 9892 deaths due to Covid. What is that? 0.16%?

We have been WIDE OPEN for a year now. We went to one of our favorite restaurants last Friday and waited for over an hour for a table. The place was PACKED. These places have been this way for a year now.

I would guess that a large majority of the people I know have been vaxed. I personally have not, because I have had it and I believe the studies that say that I have lasting immunity due to exposure. (btw, I got it when in SF CA on a work trip right before everything locked down)

The simple fact is that the news is lying to you all. Almost all of the national news that comes out of MO is just flat wrong.
