Sharp annoying sound during night

I don't know if this is a coincidence or not but in the past few nights (exactly when this heat started) around 2-3 am, a weird sharp sound like some sort of dog whistle begins. It is so annoying that I'd rather just close the window and not get any fresh air. Is anyone facing this or it's just on my side?
