Modem for 1 gig service

Hi:

I am deciding between two different modems- netgear CM1100 vs Arris SB8200. Which one would people recommend for the Optimum 1 gig service? I live in north jersey if that helps. Also own an orbi mesh router. Need a modem that will allow voice calls. Thanks.
