Day 5 of prodromal labor, looking for others who have been here!

Looking to hear from others who have experienced a long, prodromal labor..

I've been having contractions off and on since Friday night (I'm ~38 weeks), and it's now Wednesday evening. The ones that come between ~1-6am tend to be regular (every 4-5 minutes), very painful, and accompanied by waves of nausea. But during the day the contractions space out and become less intense. This is my 2nd baby but I had an elective induction the first time around so I never really experienced early labor. Would love to hear from people who have experienced something similar (and what your timeline was like for going into actual labor). Thanks!
