A question about head-coverings
Hi, I have been wondering about this question because it keeps me from praying and that’s not good. You might view this as “overdose”, and I get that but it’s distressing me, so I want to have assurance about it.
I do think that the verses in chapter eleven of the first letter to the Corinthians mean that a man ought not cover his head. What type of head covering do you think this refers to? I was distressed by the thought of the possibility, that it could really mean everything. If that is correct then how can I possibly do this? I mean having hair wax or even dirt in your hair could then be considered sinful. I have been looking at the Greek and I still don’t get it entirely. I get that it’s probably not so easy to remove all dirt from you head, if you‘re not going to pray in a vacuum, but the thought distresses me. What do you think about this?
Best regards, Leo.
