What are we supposed to do with scav guns we get out with?

With the new malfunction mechanic nearly every weapon you get as a scav will be between 40-60% durability meaning it is much more likely to jam. Obviously you dont want to be using a gun that has a good chance to jam, problem is repairing these guns recovers next to no durability and on top of that dealers wont buy them from you bc of how low in durability they are.

So what am I supposed to using these guns for exactly? Scrapping parts and then destroy it?
