How did the scouts keep their hoods up?

I know there’s pretty good info about their gear in general, so I was wondering if anyone knows if they had something in their hoods to keep them attached while they travel?

They have to keep their hoods up when they go to plug Wall Maria.

Anyway goofy question but just wanted to see if anyone had thoughts on this 😅😂
