I've gotten a couple refurb O2DSes and one refurb N2DSXL from Nintendo in the past few weeks. If all of these aren't brand new, I cannot tell whatsoever.

It seems Nintendo's refurb standards are quite high. I can't imagine why they'd sell new units as refurbs, but the immaculate condition of every one that I've gotten really makes me wonder.
