Callaway X-20 Tour irons for a very new player? or other recommendations

Hey all,

Have the opportunity to buy some X-20s for a reasonable price considering there isn’t a massive supply of decent second hand clubs where I live. Will these be good for someone who only started playing golf around 3 months ago? Am trying to play at least a few times a week and feel my current hand-me-down irons are going to slow my development.

I would like to build a decent starter set bit by bit and feel this is probably a good place to start. Anyone have anything negative or positive to say about these clubs, or have suggestions for a different/similar iron set?

Also any recommendations for a cheapish driver (>$150) or putter would be great.
