Looking for activities for this Friday, 7/2, for a 40th bday.

My girl is taking me out on the town on Friday for the big 4-0. We don’t get many days off together, and this being a special day, we wanted to have a really great day.
We both like a good beer, and/or cocktail, and love art and unique experiences. We would love to avoid being outside, because...July. But, I would love to hear any ideas you guys may have.
