When to use a mouth guard again?

I reached out to my dentist and they never got back to me and its a holiday tomorrow in Canada so they're closed. Does anyone know when to use a mouth guard again? I got all 4 wisdom teeth out today and while I don't want to put added pressure on any swollen tissue or my teeth, I don't want to disrupt my stitches with my mouth guard.

Edit: never mind they got back to Mr after they closed!

Ps for anyone wanting to know, the answer was try it day of and see how it goes. If it hurts too much or pinches, give it a couple days rest and then try again
