I'd like to thank everyone here.

Success/Celebration

I have, at 32, only recently become aware of my ADHD. I spent years of my earlier life dealing with relationship, employment, and substance abuse problems. That is all long since behind me, but I could never shake the feeling that there was something 'off' with me.

This has manifested in guilt, self depreciation, and an overall feeling that I wasn't good enough. I've spent years putting on a good face while feeling completely miserable all the time.

I recently managed to get myself on medication and, while it's hard to shake that feeling of being a junkie that is left over from past behavior, things have been much better these last few months.

This is actually my first real post after lurking for a while, and I just wanted to say that I truly appreciate everyone here. I can't describe how helpful it has been to find such a supportive community that understands what I've been going throughout my life.

Thank you all so much.
