Sitcom fans, you don't need to hate on Friends to prove a point.

Friends, being one of the most beloved sitcoms of all time, has also garnered a massive hater-base over the years. But from what I've seen, fans of other popular sitcoms seem to hate on Friends just as a means to justify their choice for best sitcom. Often starting every opinionated post with "Friends sucks! [INSERT SITCOM I LOVE HERE] is so much better!"

My point being, sitcom fans, you don't need to justify your choice for your favourite. Your favourite is your business, no one else will take that away from you. You also don't need to hate on Friends just to prove a point about your favourite sitcom. Friends CAN coexist with this sitcom you love, without having to constantly be compared. Maybe you could come up with coherent reasons as to why this sitcom is your favourite, instead of resorting to the "Friends sucks!" card.
